European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen expressed support for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy after his conflict with US President Donald Trump at the White House. “Be strong, be brave, be fearless. You will never be alone, dear President Zelenskyy,” von der Leyen wrote on social media X.
She also emphasized that Europe will continue to cooperate with Ukraine in the interests of a “just and lasting peace”. The European Commission head made her statement in two languages – Ukrainian and English.
