Russia has fired more than 150 drones at Ukraine

On the night of March 1, Russian troops launched a massive strike on the territory of Ukraine using 154 drones, the AFU Air Force has reported. According to their data, the attack was conducted by Shahed drones and imitation drones of various types launched from Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces were engaged to repel the strike.

Ukrainian Air Defense Forces managed to destroy 103 drones in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kherson, Odessa and Mykolayiv regions. The remaining 51 imitation drones were locally lost – without causing damage. However, falling debris caused damage in Kharkiv, Odessa, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Kyiv regions, the AFU noted.
