Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has proposed that the military cabinet accept a ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah. This was reported by The Times of Israel.
The agreement, according to the Prime Minister, will allow Israel to focus “on the Iranian threat” and increase pressure on the group Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
In an address to residents, Netanyahu said Israel had dealt a serious blow to Hezbollah and had managed to “set it back decades.”
The agreement is expected to take effect on Wednesday, November 27. Netanyahu clarified that its duration will depend on Hezbollah’s actions. “If it tries to rebuild a terror infrastructure near the border, we will attack. If it fires a rocket, if it digs a tunnel, if it brings a truckload of rockets, we will attack,” the Israeli prime minister said. – A good deal is one that is honored, and we will honor it.”
