A court in the Vladimir region begins hearing a second case against a former Moscow municipal deputy. This time Alexei Gorinov, who in July 2022 was sentenced to seven years in prison in the case of “fakes” about the war against Ukraine, is accused of “justifying terrorism.”
According to RusNews, Gorinov pulled out a poster before the start of the court session. The FSIN officer, judging by the published video, tried to take away the poster and then ordered it to be removed.
Lawyer Alyona Savelyeva said before the hearing that her client was ill with bronchitis and it was hard for him to travel to court. About the conditions in the pre-trial detention center, in which the politician is held, in August his supporters told. “There is no mattress. There is no hot water either. The toilet doesn’t work. There is a mouse living in the cell, with which Alexei shares cookies,” a post by his supporters said.
