Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has presented his victory plan in the Ukrainian Rada, the first four points of which Kyiv plans to implement from October to December 2024. According to the Ukrainian President, if the victory plan is followed, the war can be ended by the end of next year.
According to the plan, Zelenskyy wants to get Ukraine invited to NATO before the end of the war, transfer the war to Russia, remove restrictions on the use of long-range weapons and with the help of NATO countries to protect Ukraine from missiles and drones, deploy non-nuclear deterrents in the country. He also proposes to sign agreements with the EU and the US to protect investments for the extraction of Ukraine’s resources (uranium, titanium and lithium).
The last point of the plan concerns the post-war period. Zelenskyy suggested using the Ukrainian army’s military experience to strengthen NATO and EU defenses.
