Syrskyy hints that Britain is developing proposals for long-range strikes against Russia

Great Britain is preparing proposals for long-range strikes deep into the territory of the Russian Federation. A hint of this was made by the AFU chief Oleksandr Syrskyy after a conversation with Britain’s Chief of Defense Staff Tony Radakin.

“Separately discussed the possibility of hitting enemy military facilities in operational and strategic depth. At present, the British side is working out its proposals within the framework of practical realization of the Victory plan”, Syrskyy said.

Arms supplies and training of the Ukrainian military were also discussed.

Earlier, the media quoted British Prime Minister Keir Starmer as saying in a conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy that “Storm Shadow will not win you the war.” Western countries do not authorize long-range strikes, fearing that strikes on strategic sites could be perceived by Russian systems as a global attack and entail a Russian nuclear response.
