In Dnipro, a five-story apartment building in the city center was partially destroyed as a result of Russian missile fire. A fire started in it. This was reported by the head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional administration Serhii Lysak.
At the moment it is known about two dead and 15 wounded. There may be people under the rubble. In addition to the residential building, the station was damaged.
Also Russia attacked other settlements in Dnipropetrovsk region. In Pavlograd one of the enterprises was damaged. In Synelnykove there are dead and injured. Among the wounded are children. Four private houses were partially destroyed, eight more were damaged.
In the evening of April 18, Russia shelled Nikopol using artillery. During the night, the Marganetska community came under attack. Two private houses were damaged.
Some of the shells were shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces. According to , head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional administration Serhii Lysak, only in the morning, tentatively, nine missiles were shot down, two more – at night.
Russia attacks Ukrainian territory with missiles and drones on a daily basis. On April 17, Chernihiv came under attack. The attack killed 18 people and injured 78.
Russia has not yet commented on the strike on Chernihiv.
