Russian troops on the night of December 27 attacked Ukraine with 46 attack drones, 32 of them were destroyed. This is reported by the command of the air forces of the AFU.
Air defense worked in Mykolayiv, Odesa, Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnitsa, Zaporizhzhya, Khmelnitsky and Kirovograd regions. “Most of the drones that could not be shot down attacked frontline territories, in particular the Kherson region”, the report said.
Sounds of explosions were heard in Odesa, TV channel Suspilne Odesa reported.
According to the Ukrainian military, the wreckage of drones shot down in Odesa fell on an uninhabited new building and dacha houses. As a result, one person was killed and three were injured.
In Kherson, a shopping center, apartment buildings and warehouses were damaged in a drone attack.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that on the night of December 27, air defense assets shot down two drones over the territories of Belgorod and Rostov regions. Three hours earlier, the governor of Russia’s Rostov region, Vasilii Golubev, wrote about the downed drone.
There were no reports of casualties and injuries, as well as damage at the site where the debris fell.
