The death toll from Hamas attacks on Israel has exceeded 900 people, CNN reports, citing the Galatz radio station. Israeli media inform that about 2,400 people were injured in the attack.
One of the first targets of the militant attack was the Universo Paralello Israel Edition music festival, which took place on the morning of October 7 near Kibbutz Reim, just five kilometers from the wall separating Israeli territory and the Gaza Strip. According to the Zaka search and rescue team, more than 260 people were killed in the attack on the festival.
Volunteers from the Zaka search and rescue team found at least 100 Israeli bodies at Kibbutz Be’eri, located near the border with the Gaza Strip, according to The Times of Israel. According to a local resident, the kibbutz was completely destroyed in an attack by Hamas militants. About a thousand people were living there, and volunteers do not rule out that the death toll could rise.
At least 687 Palestinians have died in the Gaza Strip since Hamas militants attacked Israel and the Israeli army retaliated, the enclave’s health ministry said. Local medics treated 3,726 wounded, among whom one in ten was a child.
