Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada has voted for the resignation of Defense Minister Reznikov

Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada has sent the country’s Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov to resign, the Politika Strany reports.

The decision was supported by 327 people’s deputies of Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed to consider the candidacy of Rustem Umerov as the Minister of Defense of Ukraine. His candidacy will be considered on September 6.

Reznikov has held his post since November 4, 2021.
