Experts of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have detected explosions near the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant seized by the Russian military, the head of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine, Oleh Korikov, has said.
According to him, the explosions took place on July 26 and 27.
Earlier, the IAEA press service reported that the organization’s experts during the inspection of ZNPP on July 23 saw several mines located in the buffer zone between the inner and outer perimeter of the plant. The mines were located in a closed area, to which the plant staff has no access.
