Russian authorities have started blocking Wikipedia on TMCT (technical means of countering threats). This is reported by the GlobalCheck project, which monitors the availability of Internet resources.
This type of blocking means that the resource is blocked centrally with the help of equipment installed in the networks of providers under the law on the “sovereign” Internet.
According to the project, the blocking began at 3 a.m. Moscow time.
