The Danish government announced Friday that it has prepared a new Danish SEK 1.3 billion ($190 million) military aid package for Ukraine.
According to a press release from the Danish Defense Ministry, the new package will include anti-aircraft missiles, other munitions and demining vehicles, among others.
In addition, part of this package – 300 million kroner – will be contributed with money to the EU general fund, which finances the purchase of ammunition for the Ukrainian army.
“International cooperation is vital in supporting Ukraine’s fight for freedom. Unfortunately, the war seems to be dragging on, and we and our allies are sending a clear message with our many aid packages: we will support Ukraine in the long term”, the defense ministry press office quoted its head Troels Lund Poulsen as saying.
