Train traffic in the Feodosiia area has been halted. According to the head of the occupation administration of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov, the railroad bed has been damaged.
“Within two hours train traffic will be restored. No casualties”, he wrote in Telegram, without specifying what caused the damage to the railroad tracks.
The Baza channel reports that the railroad tracks near Feodosiia were blown up on the night of June 21. Two morning electric trains were cancelled because of the damage to the tracks.
Buses were arranged for passengers at Feodosiya and Vladyslavivka stations, said Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of the annexed Crimea.
The previous undermining of the tracks near Feodosiia occurred on the line Vladyslavivka — Kirovskе on June 11. At that time, train traffic was also suspended for several hours, and commuter passengers were transported by buses. The authorities of the annexed peninsula did not name the cause of the incident, and Baza wrote about sabotage.
