The British government has prepared a law under which sanctions against Russia will remain in place until Moscow compensates Ukraine. This was announced by British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly.
“Britain is ready to use sanctions to guarantee, at Russia’s expense, the restoration of the country it so recklessly attacked”, Cleverly was quoted by Reuters as saying.
The new law will allow individuals on Britain’s sanctions list to donate their frozen assets to Ukraine’s reconstruction.
