On the night of June 1, an air alert was declared in nine regions of Ukraine, including the Kyiv region. The main target was Kyiv, UNIAN reported.
An air alert was in effect in Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions, as well as in parts of Zaporizhzhya, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions under Ukrainian control. Explosions were reported in Kharkiv.
Three people were killed in the Desnyansky district of Kyiv, including two children (ages 5–6 and 12–13). The injured in the Dneprovsky and Desnyansky districts, according to medics, are currently 14 people. Nine people were hospitalized and five were treated on the spot.
In Desnyansky district a residential house was damaged – windows and doors were broken. A balcony was ripped off by the blast wave. In addition, debris fell on the children’s polyclinic, two schools were damaged by the debris: windows and doors were broken, the police station was damaged and windows were blown out on the kindergarten. There are damaged parked cars – several vehicles burned down and debris fell in the yards of houses, on the roadway and green areas.
In the Darnytsky district, windows were broken by the blast wave in one of the houses in the residential sector. In addition, the hot water supply pipeline was damaged, debris fell on a non-residential building, which caused destruction on the first floor, as well as debris fell in the yards of houses on the roadway.
