On the night of June 2, Russia continued its terror in Ukraine. A massive combined strike was launched against Kyiv, UNIAN reported.
According to Serhii Popko, head of the Kyiv city military administration, the Russians attacked the capital and the region with drones and cruise missiles simultaneously.
The report said: “The missile launches were carried out from Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea area, probably X-101/555 type cruise missiles. Kyiv was simultaneously attacked from different directions by UAVs, according to preliminary data – Shahed hovering munitions”.
According to preliminary information, air defense forces detected and destroyed more than 30 airborne targets of various types. There is no information about damage or casualties.
It should be noted that Russia has been shelling Kyiv almost every night since May. The attacks last for several hours at a time.
