Public transport in Samara urges people to sign up as contract servicemen and posters have appeared advertising rates for the destruction of Ukrainian military equipment during a “special military operation”, a Kasparov.Ru correspondent reported on May 18.
The posters say that for destroying a Ukrainian helicopter, a contract serviceman will be paid 200,000 rubles extra to his salary, and for capturing an Abrams or Leopard tank, one million rubles. The advertisement says that the lump sum payment for injury will be 3 million rubles, and 300 thousand rubles for contusion.
The buses broadcast sound advertisements: “Enlist in the Samara battalion to defend peace from Nazism in Donbass”, “сontract service is a decent salary and a respected profession”, “our boys read letters sent to them by Samaritans”.
