On the night of April 28 was attacked Suzemsky district of the Bryansk region, no one was injured, wrote at 6:32 in his Telegram channel Governor Aleksandr Bogomaz. According to him, “the garage and the car that was in the garage were damaged. There is also partial damage to one house. Operational services are working at the site”.
Since the beginning of Russia’s war in Ukraine, the Bryansk region has been regularly subjected to shelling. The day before, as a result of shelling, the village of Klimovo, where 13.5 thousand people live, was left without power supply. It was restored after 3.5 hours.
RBK reports that the Bryansk Region has allocated additional half a billion rubles from the regional budget which was reserved for support of implementation of the regional state programs and other activities. Apparently, they are to be compensated under the state program by Moscow. It is not specified what kind of defensive structures we are talking about.
In March, the head of the region, Aleksandr Bogomaz, wrote that 17 additional checkpoints will be built in the border areas.
As the governor specified at the time, materials and equipment were purchased with donations from the Bryansk office of the All-Russian People’s Front, and all work on the construction and finishing of checkpoints will be performed by Bryansk construction contractors free of charge.
Bear in mind that in early March “saboteurs” infiltrated into the border villages of Lubechane and Sushany and the Federal Security Service, the Interior Ministry and the Federal Guard Service acted to confront them. Two people were killed and a child was wounded. Vladimir Putin called the incident an act of terrorism. Members of the Russian Volunteer Corps, which is part of the territorial defense of the AFU, claimed responsibility for the incident.
