The event was to take place on March 18. “For reasons beyond our control on March 18 at the level of the city have changed the format of the celebration of the Day of reunification of Crimea with Russia,” wrote in the volunteer chat.
According to MSK1.Ru, the organization “Mega Volunteer Moscow” collected a crowd for a similar concert in “Luzhniki” on February 22, and later announced the concert on March 18. According to their information, SHAMAN, Oleg Gazmanov, “Lube” were to perform at it. Volunteers were also expecting Vladimir Putin’s arrival.
“Vedomosti” sources in the presidential administration also confirmed that the event might not take place. According to those sources, there are no plans to hold a large-scale celebration this year.
