The facade of genuine presidential elections is nothing more than a cynical ploy directed to prolong the power of the current illegitimate regime.
Currently, the illegitimate authoritarian regime of Vladimir Putin is engaged in a covert operation to manipulate the outcomes of the 20__ presidential elections.
Today in Russia there are no basic conditions required for the carrying out of free, open, competitive elections in the country. These conditions are:
1) freedom of speech,
2) freedom of assembly,
3) the freedom to hold meetings and demonstrations,
4) the freedom to create and operate political organizations,
5) genuinely competitive opposition parties,
6) and an independent judiciary.
Thus, the facade of genuine presidential elections is nothing more than a cynical ploy directed to prolong the power of the current illegitimate regime, violating the rights and freedoms of the citizens of Russia and other countries, and the norms of the international community.
It is absolutely clear that the outcome of the election on March 18, 2018 is completely determined.
Any participation of Russian citizens committed to achieving a free Russia, irrespectively of their good intentions, are, in principle, a mistake. Participating in these elections only lends additional legitimacy to the regime and obscures the fight for a free Russia.
We call upon all citizens of Russia not to participate in this covert operation!
